The art of making fire

VYNCKE is a fourth-generation family business with over 100 years of experience and craftsmanship in the field of combustion technology. The Vynckeneers engineer and build industrial energy plants that convert biomass and industrial waste into green and clean process energy.

This thermal energy ranges from 1-100 MWth and electrical power from 1-20 MWe and comes individually or in any combination of steam, hot water, thermal oil and hot gas … with or without electrical power generation.

Quality since 1912

In 1912, Louis VYNCKE settled as a blacksmith in the town of Gullegem.

By the 1920s the flax industry in Flanders had begun to flourish. With it came increased demand for steam boilers to generate energy to remove the flax fibres from their stalks.

Since coal was expensive, the boilers were designed to burn flax straw waste. And so it came to pass that VYNCKE entered the bioenergy market long before Global Warming and Kyoto Protocol were to become familiar terms.

Today, the Vynckeneers are settled in Brazil, Spain, Flanders, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and China. They turn over more than 120 MIL EUR with 4,300 references spread around the globe.
